Truth. What is it? Does it even exist? In our culture we have made truth to be relative. “What’s true for me may not be true for you and that is okay”. That is our mindset in this culture. There is no absolute truth in which we can base out “truths” off of and therefore we can believe anything we want to be true. This is where we have gone wrong. You see there should be no relative truth because there is an absolute truth. The Bible is the absolute truth for a world full of relative truths. The world is throwing lies in our faces and we sit back and listen, and the longer that we sit back and listen, our idea of truth begins to shift. You see the things that we find true today would have been horribly intolerable years and years ago, but our truth has shifted. Just hearing about current events makes this so evident. Take homosexual marriage. This is now legal in all 50 states. If you would have asked our great grandparents if they thought that we should legalize homosexual marriage I can guarantee their response would be a polar opposite from what our culture is telling us. Our culture is telling us that there is no absolute truth so who are we to tell them that they are wrong. They don’t believe the Bible, because the Bible clearly states that marriage is between one man and one woman as designed by God. How far have we come as a culture? Another example would be abortion. How have we killed 57,496,011 innocent babies since 1973? How can a culture let that happen? The answer is simple we have no absolute truth. There is no point of life because we all came from primates anyway. There is no sanctity of life. These are the lies that our culture is spoon-feeding to us. Wake up America! Stop believing the lies that our culture wants us to believe. Start believing the absolute truth that we have in the Bible that tells us that every child is knit in his mother’s womb and is beautifully and wonderfully made. Stop with the relative and start with the absolute. God created us in his image and loves us so much that we cannot even fathom it. Why would you not want to believe that?
